Default Which Air Filter Is The Best?

As the title says. Im currently using a fram air filter. To me it looked just like any other paper air filter out there.

What do you guys have for being the best?

Fram is fine, I use either that or AC Delco.

I like the paper filters for cars with an MAF. I only use a K&N on my carbed Nova.

A paper airfilter is a paper airfilter, If you would want to change it, get k&n. Either stick with a paper one or go to k&n, which is what I have.

I tested a new fram vs a 1000 mile KandN.

My traps were slightly higher with a new fram..

I put a two year old brand new fram in my hawk. I am going to try to find a dry performance filter. Much like AEM uses on their intakes.

I only use a k&n at the track. I dont care for the oiling, and the smaller particulates the k&n will let through. I dont feel the few hp is worth my motor getting dirtier. I dont daily drive it, but I dont think a filter would cause me to loose a street race if I were in that situation

I use fram. I don't have to clean my MAF as much when I switch from K&N to FRAM.

I just use a couple of sheets of paper towel, Bounty brand seems to work best.

My bro uses a K&N because with his cold air intake his filter gets filthy underneath way fast. Instead of buying filters all the time he just cleans it. My car came with a K&N but if it had paper I'd just stick with paper, no big hp difference.

I don't know what you guys are doing with the oil where your maf is getting dirty. My maf is clean as a whistle. Might be going a little to crazy with the oil if your maf is getting dirty.
