Default idle issues

My car is a 98 z28, I have had a idle issue for almost a year, maybe longer and im tired of it. It happend after I did my cam swap, the cam is a 224/230 114lsa 591lift cam. so it is no big daddy cam or anything like that. I switched to 99heads, just so I could switch everything over to centerbolt valvecovers. Im thinking that my passenger side valve cover came from a 5.3, which it only has one spot for the pcv to plug in as the regular ls1 valve covers, have 2. So i am unsure if that is causing my problem. Usually when I start the car up, I have to gas it and what not for about 5 minutes until it will settle and idle on its own, and it will heve(sp) from 900rpm to about 1050rpm also sometimes. I dont see any vacuum leaks and cant figure if maybe this is a tuning issue also. I would be appreciated for any help given to me. Also I have no check engine lights and have replaced my IAC. The car usually does best on warm startups, it doesnt struggle has bad. If it sits overnight or for a few hours it does all that BS.

The car doesnt have too many issues when it is warm, also when im driving and turn the a/c on and if Im to let off that gas at 60mph the car will die until i shut the a/c off.

They need to cold start it to get it right so you should plan on leaving it. I have had to have my cold start tweaked a couple times too because the 111 LSA is kinda bitchy,,,,,,

Yeah i bet it is, I just dont understand why im having all these problems from a baby cam with a 114 lsa.

I was thinking about towing my car to him, just so I can have him mess with it on cold start..AAA ftw!
