Default Some questions about my enemy oil

I opend my oil cap on the engine and some white smoke was coming out. Not alot but enough to worry me. Is this bad or normal. Or are me rings going bad.

how hard is it to change the oil pan gasket, or should i just pay 300 bucks?

I think those are your piston rings going bad.

its just condensation burning off. its normal.

replacing the oil pan gasket has nothing to do with anything unless your leaking oil

Sounds like steam or a lack of oil.

Pan gaskets are about 50 bucks and are a pain in the *** to do bc you have to drop the k member about 6 to 12 inches.

Or loosen motor mounts and raise the motor. Lining the mounts back up can be a b!tch though.......

Just another option......

I lifted my motor as high as it would go, i still couldnt get the pan to come out (trans was still there) then I dropped the k member about 2-3 inches. Still wouldnt come off. Once I got the k member 8 or so inches I was able to squeeze it out. The intake was on the cowl so the motor could go any higher.
