I'm starting a bit of a Hot Wheels collection, and the closest thing I can find to my 98 TA is a 3rd gen body style police car. I searched everywhere online and haven't found anything. Anyone know if they made one?

You know what, back in the 90's I'd pick up a Hot Wheel or Matchbox every time I went to the grocery store, and I don't think I ever came across an F-bird. Now, I do remember Hot Wheels LT1 cars with racing emblems all over them, but I don't recall seeing any plain 'ol street car themes; I sure as hell don't recall any LS1 bodies. Personally, I have a black, '97 WS6 with its t-tops off from Matchbox...

hotwheels and model cars would be nice. A friend of mine has a 4 gen ws6 model car, a remote control ws6, and a nice metal poster of the 4th gen ws6. I want to say he found them at a feed store years ago

I gotta few older Firebirds. I haven't seen the LT1 Police Car in person yet, but if I bought 2 I'd go ahead and paint one of them haha. I also have a B&M LT1 style Pro Stock Firebird. I'm just trying to find an LS1 one! Shoot...might be easier to get another extra of that LT1 police one and try molding the ls1 body on it..............but I ain't got the time for that "little" project. I'll still keep my eyes peeled though.
Thanks for the responses guys! I actually thought noone would respond and ya'll definitely came through.

Rampage, those Pronto links sent me to a single page search, it didn't go to a specific product.
There is also a Johnny Lightning 2001 Firebird. I'm currently watching for one on ebay.

I have a little collection. Big one is remote control, three medium sized ones are model cars, and on the left I have a collection of different colored ZR1's I find when I go to the grocery store, the right is some 5th gen camaros and your B&M firebird. No LS1 4th gens yet but I always check the grocery store and walmart whenever I'm there.

That's awesome. You use duplicolor color match paint for the NBM or some other color? I plan on doing a model car too...and want to do the same NBM as my car.
I'm also debating about starting to keep the matchbox cars in the casings. Then start putting them up on my garage wall.
Your remote car looks like mine did with the C5z...except yours has split 6 spoke instead of C5z'ssplit 5 spoke.

I just noticed who you were. Thanks for the install vids you're doing...I watched the koni/strano vid probably 4 times before feeling comfortable pulling the trigger and doing it myself. I'm glad I did.

I did use duplicolor on the remote control car. For the smaller model car I used some kind of model car spray paint that didn't match as well as I hoped. If you have the will power to keep the cars in their casings you should defintely do it. They would look great on a garage wall. Once I buy a matchbox car I have to take it out of the box.
My R/C car originally came as a compitition coupe viper and my brother bought me the Trans Am body from Tower Hobbies.
Thanks for props for the vids. My brother just ordered an LS7 clutch kit and he is driving up to my house in a few weeks to install it so I'll have a "How to install your own clutch" video soon which I am stoked about. It should really help out the LSx community being able to see the install on video.

Absolutely! I will be putting the LS7 clutch in sometime next year myself actually...and although I have a general idea of how it goes...seeing it done makes me feel 100 times more confident. I'm probably going to go with a aluminum flywheel though...and just quit downshifting all the time when driving on the road. Should get some good video with two of you doing the work too.

I check every time I go to a store for 4th gen stuff. I bought a small 4th gen camaro die cast that was orange, but had race stickers on it and thats the only 4th gen I've found. I'm starting to buy one hot wheel each time we go shopping since I've got a son due in March, so he'll have a nice little collection by the time he's old enough to play with them.
