Default New camaro Prices

I have a friend who is looking for a new SS/RS convertable and was wondering what everyone else is seeing them ask for them?

She was told 42k plus an extra 5k just because.

Thanks

Check here. Punch in your Zip and car info and it'll give you a complete rundown on the high, median and low end of deals. This eliminates ANY guess work of "Well, that sounds a little high." Price analysis based on your area and what others have paid around you.

Honestly I would never pay a dime over sticker, just plan stupid IMO. Cars depreciate enough once you drive them off the lot, why would you add more to it. Its like when the new GT500's came out there were people in my area paying 15-20 K over sticker, and then a year or two latter trying to get sticker price for them b/c they paid more. I just don't see why you would pay more then something is worth.

I agree. Apparently there are enough 'suckers' out there that will pay over sticker. Next year they won't even by bringing sticker prices, and rebates will probably be offered the year after that. Most people can wait until the novelty wears off but for those that can't, they will pay through the nose.

That is complete nonsense. 4th gens interior plastics and general build quality will never be worse on any car made after it. Hell I can't think of to many cars before 4th gens with such horrible quality and I have owned over 15 of them

The one i test drove was a POS the huge trim panel that runs from door to door was already coming off. Its cheap made trust me. Also i have absolutely no problems with the interior in my SS.
