I found the original window sticker under the passengers side seat. I bought it a little over a month ago. Cool little surprise I guess.

That is really and I'm amazed at the extremely few options the car came with. Keep it for the future sale of your car one day. It can be very impressive to potential buyers. Enjoy the ride!

Nice! My find after I bought my Z28 was a hammer under the rear seat not as good of a find as yours!

That is an awesome find! I always like to have as much original paperwork as possibile for any car.

I found this under the passenger seat of my Nova, slipped under the seat springs:

It's a build tag that confirms and further details some of the information on the cowl tag and the VIN. This was with the car every single moment for over 40 years, until I found it this spring. I've got it living under a stack of books now, trying to get it flat again. Wish I could find a full build sheet and window sticker too.

I found a bunch of dope and rolling papers in my car when I bought it. Glad I didn't get searched before I found it...

The window sticker was in the glove box of the T/A; at some point in the car's life it was something special to someone. When I got the car there were a lot of maintenance/wear items that needed tending to, but the owner's manual and sticker were kept in a plastic pouch in the glove box. Weird...

Not really that unusual. May have been there since day one. Many dealerships throw them in the glove box and the owner may never have thought twice about it, and there it sat over the years.

It was weird to me because the car was "let go" and allowed to degenerate but somehow the manual and sticker remained in the same spot as, like you said, the dealer probably placed it back in the day. I dunno, when I see people with new cars today the first thing they do is throw out everything they don't need to make room for their crap, such as miscellaneous papers, electronics, food, and whatever the hell else people keep in their cars these days.

Ultimately I'm glad I found it. Now, hasn't it been said that reproduction stickers are available from dealers? How does that work? I'd love a 'repro of my 97Z's sticker.

I've heard stories about people buying used cars out here, only to get caught in Mexico with drugs and whatnot stashed in the car. If it's one thing you don't want to be it's caught with someone else's stash, and certainly not in Mexico...

Good find. I kept the window sticker from my truck when I bought it new, and I got pictures of all the original markings so I can reference them in like 30 years.. I hope.

I would assume most options would be included in the "ZO6 package" so even though there not listed individually there still standard with the ZO6. Maybe someone who actually bought a Z new can chime in, but I wonder how many additional options there are for a ZO6 as I would image just about everything would be included.
