So I picked up a 'new' 98 Z auto car a few days ago. It acted like it wanted to die when I put it in gear, so after a little searching and deliberation, I decided to get some CRC products from the 'zone and give the tb, maf and iac valve a good cleaning. I'm so happy with the results! Car started right up and had almost no rpm drop when going into gear. Thank you LS1TECH!

MAF cleaning is important, especially if the car ever had a K&N-style air filter. People tend to over oil them, and the oil builds up on the MAF wires over time causing all sorts of driveability issues.
You won't get much if anything out of wires unless the stock ones are damaged or extremely worn. Stock wires last a lot longer than most people seem to think.

The car wasn't untouched. It looks to be full bolt on and tuned with 3.73 gears as well. It already has MSD wires on it, so I assume the plugs were changed.
I plan on running a can of seafoam through the tank and changing the fuel filter soon too. Thanks for the advice guys! This is my second ls1 camaro, so I'm pretty familiar. It's been a while though. I'm happy to be back in a real car though!
