Default POLL: Help me decide how to spend my tax return!

Im getting a nice tax return, but nothing crazy... close to a grand(im a college student)

I want something that will benefit me the most.

Vote and explain why you picked what ever it is you picked.

Dont mind the sig ( got a lil impulsive)

Please take in to consideration I have STOCK 243 heads(LS6/LS2) and a 232/234 cam

Also if your a cam only with a FAST 90/90 combo please post your dyno info.

Thanks!

Just by looking in your sig, why don't you buy a FAST 90mm Intake and Throttle Body?

i dunno TSP has got some good deals on some nice PRC heads that would be the same price as the FAST 90/90 and I would gain probably more hp with the heads thanks to my cam.

If I get the heads, any one want to take ownership of my 243 heads?

i voted for the heads because a decent set of ported heads will accent that cam and really make your car run amazing

Will you really gain that much under the curve with a FAST 90/90? I'm not going to vote, but if I did, I would go for cut out. If you have an LS6 intake, I just don't see the need for the 90/90 and taht's going to cost a very pretty penny. Wouldn't the gains for the cut out for your car be very, very similar? Plus... the sound. Oh, the sound. With an open cut out, your car will sound pissed off.

But, I'm a newb, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I didn't vote because IMO the two things you need most can't be bought with 1K.

1). AFR 205 or ETP 215 heads. I am a firm believer that bang for the buck is fine for bolt-ons but not for anything that goes inside the motor.

2). 12 bolt with 4.10 gears.

Either of the two would cost closer to $2500 so my advice is bank the tax return and add to it slowly but surely.

Ok i voted for fast 90/90 untill i saw that you already had the ls6 intake and ported TB. I would go with the heads, How can we vote for tires, when we dont know how bad they are, and a cut-out is like $40.

didnt vote but ive noticed for your seat of the pants, tire can wake the car up. I don't know from experienc but that will be the next mod to confirn/disprove this theory. If I had more tracktion it stands to reason that it goes quicker faster from a stop, much like if you 60 is crap your et will rflect it. good luck.
