Should I mod or not?
Okay, I have an 01' T/A, with 57K miles. I'm wondering if I should invest $4k in mods (cam, headers, Y Pipe, Gears) or should I wait until the new Camaro come out. I'm dying for over 400 H.P. and the car is paid off.

Good choice, and no matter how nice the new camaro is nothing draws attention like a cammed ls1 T/A or camaro when its rumbling at a stop light. Click the link in my sig if you want a good example of how it will sound with a good sized cam. Is your T/A an auto or an m6? If its an auto go for a good sized stall (around 3600rpm), g5x3 with dual springs/hardened pushrods/titanium retainers, 3.73 or 4.10 gears, pacesetter headers/ory/catback of choice or duals, lower controll arms and an adjustable panhard rod, subframe connectors, good tires, and a tune. That should be about 4 grand and you would eb damn near 400 rwhp. If your an m6 then swap out the stall for a good clutch (ls7/ls2 combo works well for cammed cars).

Yeah, I'm refinancing my mortgage and paying off the T/A. It's an A4. There's a guy in my town that does all F-bodies; Vettes and Lightnings. The mod list is:
Cam;
Exhaust Kit (Y-pipe; catalyist converters, headers);
3:73 gears;
90mm throttle body.
That set up should put me in the mid 400's.

OH NO another one.... Here's my story short and sweet. I intended to do just a cam only setup. So you need to support the cam. Ok not a real big deal. Headers and an intake if you dont have an ls6 one already. $1400 for the headers and catted y pipe and about $800 for the cam package because you include the oil pump.
You think your done at that point but it's really just the tip of the iceberg. Once you feel the power you want more. SO then you do heads. Then you do a rear and clutch and before you know it your 15,000 into it and you only intended top spend $2000 at the most when you first started.
BUT my car is BAD ***

the intake manifold for that 90mm tb youre talking about is over 800$ alone.. And the tb is $400.
You already have an ls6 manifold, just port and polish your throttle body thats on your car..
