A neighbor of mine has 2 cranks welded together and cemented in the ground for his mail box post.

I have an old camshaft as an ashtray, and I would like a coffee table with crankshafts for legs. Would be pretty heavy though

our next project is bar stools made from 2 suspension springs welded together or two cranks welded together

i've used rims and a piece of glass for an end table, until i sold the rims.

Ya I love that type of art.

Im toren between what to use as the base of my lamp for my stock ls1 camshaft....

Should I use the stock pushrods for "legs" and have a tripod type lamp.

or

I will do the exact same thing as in post #1



There is some pretty cool art... i have seen LS1 coffee tables with the rods as the legs and the piston as the feet of the table with wine bottles in the cylinders, and glass covering the top.
