stock horsepower rating

All LS1s came with 350hp.
The exact same LS1 in the 350hp vette is the exact same LS1 that was put in the f-bodies and GTO.
Exact w/ minor differences such as oil pan for different k-member and some different accessories.
The engine internals/cams were the same.

Just to clarify . . It is 350 horse 365 torque at the crank and 310 horse 325 torque to the wheels -- this is Chevy's ratings !! If you dyno one of these cars those numbers probably wont be your exact numbers -- they'll be in the ballpark though. This is for 02' cars also.
You lose more with an A4 than a M6 also ..

I've been interested in this subject as well. I was told the LS1 in the 01 and 02's that are in the f-bodies had a different cam than that that was used in the vette. Is there any hard data on the true dyno of these engines?

The power difference is negligible.

`98-`00 Corvette and F-body LS1's did have different cams but there was no power difference to speak of.
`01-`04 LS1's are all the same internally no matter which car they were installed in.

And the cars with the manual trans won't have the losses like an auto, so they will be a little bit higher.
My 2002 Camaro SS Convertible had the 345HP package from SLP when I ordered the car (Donaldson Blackwing lid and Dual-Dual cat-back exhaust). BONE-STOCK, on Speed Inc's dyno: 319.72 HP & 339.42 TQ (I even left my dirty air-filter in - a new filter might have read even higher).
Stock 2002 Z28 and SS cars were "RATED" 325HP, and the SS cars had the SLP options available (sincle SLP is the place where the Z28 cars were made into the SS: 335HP - just the cat-back & 345HP like mine - lid and cat-back)

GM has don't this for years.

It's the same motor, but different exhaust systems and intake lid. I'm thinking my z had somewhere over 310 stock, but with adding the borla and lid, I must be up around 350. I agree they all have the same 350 hp engine, but crappy intake and exhaust can definitely drain you of 30+hp.
