Default Stolen 02 ws6

My wife's 02 ws6 was recently stolen from a hospital parking lot in Baton Rouge in broad daylight while she was having surgery. I thought these cars were supposed to be hard to steal. There was no glass on the ground so apparently the system was bypassed. The car was locked and I had the keys in my pocket. The car was in exceptional condition and bright red, so it's really a head turner. Hard to believe it has just disappeared. Anyway, any info would be helpful because I found another one in Fla. I'm gonna pick up next weekend, so any help on alarm systems or other anti theft info would be appreciated. I don't want to have to go through this ordeal again. I've been told most stolen F-bodies around here end up in New Orleans in multiple pieces.

Flatbeds/towtrucks work very well and nobody even pays any attention when they pull a car up and drive away.

Sorry to hear about the theft....that sucks

I thought about that too, but the security camera showed it there at 2:36, and when the camera pans back around at 2:38, it was gone and another car was in the parking spot!!!!!!!

2 minutes is FAST, that would have to be planned while the camera was turned and everything. Are you sure you didn't leave the doors unlocked? Thats how I got my stereo stolen in my 94 one time, I accidentally left the doors unlocked just 1 TIME!.

Sucks though, good luck with your new WS6.

There is a red one just went up for sale here 3 days ago. Looks nice

I thought so too, especially with a security guard present, and signs stating "these premises monitored 24 hours a day by camera".

and oh yeah, my Factory alarm is awesome...

Its the "Loctronics" one that you have to plug in the little chip under the dash before you start the car. Its wired to the ignition, fuel pump, and every panel on the car. It would take a GM dealer 4 hours to uninstall it. (What Chevy said).

I have no doubt that my car is pretty close to unstealable unless you could bipass those wires with incredible speed or if you have a lot of time.
