As long as the car is tunned for it, you will have no problems.

If you're worried about it I'm sure you could rent one for cheap. Just throwing that out there.

If you have a quality tune and quality installation of parts and assuming your springs are rated for your lift ect... you will be fine.

Your car has a cam in it from the factory...it is recommended that you have one before leaving on any trip.

Exactly, theres no place for a comment like that. This forum is to exchange knowledge and help one another. No to talk down to others and belittle them. Yeah, he knew what he meant. That guys just another dime a dozen *******.

I took my H/C car from Orlando to Iowa to Tulsa and back to Orlando maybe 5-6 years ago. This was over Christmas break with my 2-year old daughter in the back seat. No problems then except the heater didn't work so well with the 160 stat.

A couple of years later I go back to Iowa in June for a wedding and on the way back I break a valvespring on the interstate in BuFu Illinois. Had the local dealer put in some new 918's and drove it home with a bent exhaust valve. I rent or fly now

Not what I wanted to hear, I have about 10k miles on my springs hopefully they can go another 5k with no problems. How many miles did you get out of your springs?

Not really man, I had a cobalt last time I drove to NY last year and it got about 25 MPG and cost me about $560 for 8 days NOT including gas (just the rental fee). It will cost less than that round trip for gas in the vette

Vette gets 24 MPG hwy
