That is roughly $10,600 or $10,588.22 to be exact. I would go for more considering the mileage and mods and also because I would imagine a Trans Am is pretty darn rare in Germany. I would use that point to get a lot of money out of him

You should be able to get WAY more than that. The problem is it seems kind of late for you to change your price on him, I would like to get around 15k-16k atleast or so for importing it. But since you already gave him a low price and all, you might not be able to milk him for much more.

he's trying to lowball you.....

i wouldn't go any lower than €9000 ($14,013.87), and would try to push more toward €10,000 - €11,000 ($15,573.35 - $17,130.69)

1) it had to be imported, which costs money
2) f-bodies in good condition with such low mileage are pretty rare over there
3) you've got money tied up in upgraded parts as well, which i'm sure also had to be imported (unless they were put on before it was shipped overseas)

on my local news they talked about an exchange student that shipped an old farm truck to norway or sweden for 2k plus another 2k taxes / fees so if your car here is worth at least 10k add the 4k to the price. just my 2 cents. if you need ppwk showing the value go to kelley blue book retail value and show him.

I just sold my 99 TA w/109K miles for 7000 euros, tax-free to a guy in Finland. It's on its way over there right now.

So, I would say that guy is trying to lowball pretty badly. Especially if OP's car is already in Germany and inspected and registered over there. Even as a tax-free offer it's still pretty low.

Here's three TA's for sale in Germany and prices are quite different.

I think that you should ask for about $15,000 tops. To the guy that said $19,000. Wow buddy you must be hitting that pipe pretty hard. I hope you were joking. I know there were transportation fees and taxes but let's be real this is not a C5.
