Like many of you guys, mine didn't smoke too much at idle, or the revs really, but once I nailed it the first time wow... my neighbors had to be thinking what a piece... if they only knew. Oh it had 80,000 miles. My advice to anyone doing this... wait until its dark lol or go somewhere deserted
lol but one of the best, easiest and cheapest "tune ups" you can do.

To prove seafoam works.. I made my friend try to idle up my hill(very steep) in his 5 speed s-10 and it wouldnt before the seafoam.. I seafoamed it and 30 minutes later it climbed it at idle without hesitation.

just seafoamed mine. suprisingly, it barely smoked. as a matter of fact, the only time it smoked was when i floored it the first few times. car has 98k on it. but anyway, i can defineately tell it is more responsive. before i could easily break the tires in second, and now i can break them lose in third gear. never done that before. feels nice. even though i was dissapointed in the lack of smoke, i was not dissapointed in the results.

I seafoamed the car earlier with the Can, deep creep, and I used the Mass air flow senor cleaned spray on it. The funnel I used was to small because when I pour in the final 1/3 it didn't stall. I killed the engine ASAP and when I started it up it smoked pretty good. I think I'm going to seaform it at the end of the summer again since the first time didn't stall it.

I'm gonna seafoam my 2000 Chevy 2500 and my 2004 GTO on Friday. I'm gonna do it through the intake cause I just changed my oil the other day and dont wanna have to do it again. I'll let everyone know how it goes. Great write up by the way.

Just seafoamed my '02 Z28 yesterday. Put a can in the gas, half in the oil, and half through the brake booster. It was idling very low with the hose disconnected like some others here, and I couldn't get it to stall with the final pour (sounded like it was about to, but it didn't). Left it there for 25-30 minutes, let it idle for 5 or 10 minutes and drove around a bit. Got some pretty thick smoke for 3 or 4 blocks, but that's really it. Car has about 37k on it.
Thanks for the great write-up.

I didn't read all 39 pages of this, but I have a question that may have been asked before. Is it alright to Seafoam in stages? If I have time to do, say, the fuel and oil thing, but not the rest of it for another week or two or even a month, is that ok? Or do you have to do this whole package deal in one shot? What would be an acceptable amount of time in between each step if I couldn't do them all at once?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Have a question, I'm going to change my fuel filter soon, now that I've put sea foam in. Should I change it after this first tank with the sea foam, or fill up a few times before changing it. In other words I want to let the sea foam do its work before changing filters and when is a good time to change it.
