I did this install myself just yesterday. I gotte say, though it took me a long time, it was overall a simple install!

For those that break the OPSU... you aren't being careful enough. If you reach your hand behind the intake you can follow the hose from the brake booster and feel where the hose touches the OPSU. As long as you guide that hose over the OPSU, you shouldn't have any problems... I didn't anyway. Also the zip-ties worked flawlessly for me as well to hold the back 4 bolts up.

The biggest slow down I ran into was putting the fuel rails into the ls6... no matter how much pressure I applied they would not "snap in" like the video said. I tried really hard to get them to snap in, but they would not. I used dielectric grease, pushed down the fuel injectors as much as I could, then just bolted them on. Idk so far everything seems fine, so I do not think I did anything wrong. Guess ill let u know if my car burns down.

One thing I forgot to do was plug in the MAP sensor in the back of the intake. I was so busy making sure I didn't pinch the knock sensor wires or anything else back there I totally forgot about that sensor. Luckily I was able to stick my hand back there after it was all done and plug it in without having to have to remove the intake again.

Anyway, to any of those iffy about doing this themselves, if I could do it, you can too.

Thanks for the video it helped a lot.

I already have the LS6 intake but I used this guide to uninstall my intake so I can change my knock sensors and the harness. Too easy for sure with this guide.

Edit: And no I didn't break my OPSU.

Already did install. pretty easy... Just be carefull with the brake booster hose. You have to guide it around the oil presure sensor or you will break it. I had no problems. Good luck

Guys, I haven't been able to play either of my install vids the past few days. I thought after a few days it might iron itself out, but obviously that's not happening. I will go on tonight and see if I can get these uploaded on youtube instead.

The thing is I've been having a lot of computer problems lately and I'm afraid I may have lost the oringinal part 1 and 2 installs. If this is the case, no one will be able to watch this video again as I only had the oringinal and the video uploaded on the net. I get off work tonight at 8pm so I'll get on it as soon as I get home.

Well, it's official, I no longer have the videos. I am going to have to remake the video with all the clips I have. I should have everything up by next week and uploaded to youtube.

Thanks man, to be honest I'm dreading it. Making a movie like that on windows movie maker is unbelievably tedious.

I can only imagine, I know these things take a lot of time and of course we know your not getting a dime out of this. When and if it gets done, i'm sure we'll all appreciate it. I know I could use it, i'm looking for an LS6 intake right this minute.
