Best place to purchase GM 85mm MAF & 98mm air-lid?
Looking for a gm 85mm maf and a 98mm fast toys air-lid. Any suggestions as to where is the best and cheapest place to buy these?

I've gotten truck MAFs off eBay for $40. If the MAF is
in the lineup then a 98mm lid is liable to do nothing.
My Blackwing fits up perfect to an 85mm MAF with
the old SLP MAF hose (a specialty Fernco piece, they
cut down; forget the number).

I'm currently running a SLP CAI with their lid which I believe is what 78mm? So I don't see how my current lid will adapt to or house a 85mm MAF. So this would mean I would have to buy a bigger lid in order to fit the larger maf. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So it looks like if I want to use my SLP "non Blackwing lid" and a 85mm maf I would have to get a reducer coupling to adapt the lid to the maf. So if this is the case, I would assume spending a $145 for a new larger lid would be a waste of money when a coupler can be bought for a few bucks. So with that said, the 98mm fast toys lid won't provide any improvments gain wise being it's larger?

If the lid fits the stock MAF inside it, it's probably close
to the ID of the 85mm MAF. Might pick up the MAF
first and see how they butt up. Or measure the OD of
the present lid and see how far off from 3-1/2" you are.
That's the happy diameter for 85mm MAF.
I searched up my old posts, Fernco P/N 1059-33 (one
end of it) is what SLP was shipping with their MAF
when I bought mine back in the day. X-acto knife marks
were free. It's a weirdball clay pipe to iron pipe adaptor
hose, or some such. But 3.5" and thinner than the
Home Depot hoses, it works.
