tru dat...but they should also not be charging super premium if their product is not yet somewhat "tweeked" to perfection....kooks lts and ory are expensive as well, but you here nothing but easy installs on the matter...once their product is superb for fitment...then charge 1500$...
but whatever....you have a valid point...he is only one customer having this problem....

Kooks must be making too much money. They don't have to worry about customer service. More power to them I wish that was the case with my company. Im ok with some tweaking to make something work but this sounds ridiculus. You pay a premium price you expect a premium product with premium customer service.

There's a difference between things not going smoothly, new kit, kinks, etc... and then getting bent over for more $$$ because the manufacturers product doesn't fit right.

It's one thing to request some time/chances to fix the errors on a new product... that's understandable. But that's on the companies dime. That's all part of the business and creating a successful product. Gotta spend money to make money. It's not the customers fault their product turned out to be crap.

Done......

AS in one of my earlier posts I noted this would look good with single 4" tips. Well, there they were. 4 4" tips right in front of me. They're just a simple slip and weld design. If you make a cut just inside the weld it slips right off the pipe. The nice thing here is you now have all the room needed to make clamp on tips since you delete the merge needed for quad tips. I played a bit with the angles off the mufflers. Gonna play some more with final adjustments. Finally, something getting done on this.

Looks great, but still think it's absolutely RIDICULOUS you had to go through all that. Maybe you can recoup SOME of your losses by selling the Kooks tips?

I wish. Had to sacrifice one to get the 2 4" pieces that I used. Suppose I could make 2 more 4" singles. My stamped Corsa tips however will be 4sale here real soon.....I'll post another pic tomorrow from a higher angle. This setup here looks soooooo much better.

There is a reason why it took someone almost 30 years to make a mass produced dual exhaust for these cars - because everyone else knew it couldn't be done. Tolerances are just too tight for this type of setup, and every car can be a little different. Kooks got greedy.

^ It's MAIL ORDER!!!!

God.... Sometimes I think you guys are asking too much. If you want a system identical to this to fit 100% perfect, then by all means, take it to a custom fab shop and have it done and post the price. INCLUDING THE LT'S!

Guys we made this system because we were receiving phone calls for it. So we said if there is a demand for it then let's build it so we did. For the guys that are having fitment issue's we apologies for it. These cars are not all the same so there needs to be some adjusting. That’s just the way it is when you start modify a vehicle. I don’t care what make or model it is. This is a very large exhaust system in a limited space car. But it does fit if you take your time and adjust it correctly. All of our products are made on a CNC mandrel bender then assembled on a fixture to insure it is made the same each time. We have installed 4 of these systems here in our facility over the last 8 to 10 weeks. All the systems fit perfect after they were properly adjusted. The installs were done on a lift.

Moneypit we played phone tag for awhile and I am sorry for that. But the fact is we have a company protocol to follow. That protocol is if a replacement part needs to be sent it needs to be paid for. Then when the product is returned to us then you are refunded the same day. I told you we would cover the cost of shipping and everything. I am sorry this was not up to your expectation for customer service. I am glad it worked out for you in the end.

For the clients that did not recieve the Heat tape please email me your address and I will send the proper lenght to you ASAP.Thanks

moneypit00, thank you so much for your post. I just cancelled my Kooks order. Kooks knew about this thread and did NOTHING to help, no follow up no admission nothing. I understand that exhausts are not perfect for for the price they charge it should be darn close.

I just went on their website..i thought $1800+was complete header to tailpipe, no thats not including headers! Headers are another $1000.00...$2800.00 for an exhaust!
