LM1+ Longtubes+O/R Y SUCKS
I just swapped my MAC mids and MAC catted y for Pacesetter longtubes and an off road y-pipe. There is so much rasp inside the car at 2500-3000 RPM I can barely stand driving it.
I want to get the Borla XR-1 to try and get rid of the rasp. Do you guys think that will do the trick. Or at least tone it down a ways.

texas speed ory. I had the pacesetter and you wouldnt believe how retarted the merge was. For the 3" merge, there was literally just a 1.5" hole drilled in it. It made me sick.
texas speed is cheaper and has the flowmaster Y merge. You cant go wrong.

Start with your crappy merge. The Pacesetter ORY not only sounds like crap, but flows like crap. The BBK wont bolt up to Pacesetter longtubes. The TSP is your next best bet as the FM merge is very good too.

its both. I had the lm1 on my car as well with the pacesetter ory. They just sound like ****. I now has the tsp ory with the tsp rumbler with a inline bassani muffler and it took away all the rasp and drone the car ever had. It sounds great to be honest.

The merge has a LOT to do with it. Will it still be raspy with a good merge? Yes, but not even remotely as bad, and a little rasp can sound damn good. I have a BBK ory and lm2, rasp is minimal and drone is none.
