Really, I was unaware. Do you happen to know what years of the A & G bodys they fit by chance..

Thanks

Not sure years for A bodies, but all years of G bodies (78-88) people have had varying levels of success of them fitting. I don't know if it's the cars the headers or both that make it so they bolt right into one car and need dented or modified for another, the problems are almost always on the passenger side. The only complaint about the drivers side is people don't like the crooked collector.

Got my 1 7/8 headers in and the car up and running. The Pacesetter y does work with these headers as advertised.

Glad to hear. Thanks again for the business..

I ended up pulling the trigger this weekend, and put together all the specs on our headers for those guys looking to do swaps. Hope this helps.

So you won't have the headers and y pipe back in stock until at least January? What's going to change with the new y pipe design?

That's good to know, Sean. I'm a little curious, in perusing Amazon for other y pipes, I came across a listing for header & y pipe combo, from Speed Engineering, claiming to be in stock, at the regular price.

My question is, do you have any of the y pipes in stock, or are you completely out? I'd like to buy the shiny stainless y pipe that matches your headers as a combo, if it absolutely can't be done until you receive the revised versions, I understand and will end up having to buy another brand.

The headers we have in stock. Sorry, missed that one on Amazon. I took it down thanks. Yes, were looking at least a few months on LS1 Y-Pipes. It all depends on how quickly they can get us a batch. I would assume at least 3 months however. That's usually the lead time.

Truck headers are now in stock for you truck guys. The truck Y-Pipes are still in production though. I would assume another month or so for truck Y-Pipes.

Thanks
Sean

Thanks for that! Looks like it's for the 98-02 Camaro, are you planning on doing this for your other headers?

We can, but the only issues would be the O2 sensor locations. The truck headers point in odd directions, which most car guys would probably have an issue with.

Talking Just pulled the trigger!

I am not going to lie. I am skeptical about the price of Speed Engineering headers. I am a very budget minded individual ESPECIALLY when it comes to my toys. I feel there is no reason to just buy a product because of a certain brand. So on that note...I just pulled the trigger on some 1 7/8 *SPEED ENGINEERING* race headers for my 98 Z28. Hopefully the quality is as claimed by other forum members. And let it be known I will spread the word whether good or bad after I get them in and review and install them. I look forward to receiving them.

We have only test fitted them on the 2wd and 4wd trucks. I am assuming they should fit, but no testing has been done on the Awd vehicles at this point. If its a 6.2L in a truck the fitment should be just fine.

Thanks

Freak_Z: Thank you for your order.. Much appreciated.

GuardianMagnuSS: Sounds good. They are basically the same quality/welds etc. as our Camaro headers. I think you will be happy with them.

A few small things will be changed, but the over all the basic design will be fairly close.

Thanks
Sean
