Speed Engineering Race Version Headers Now Available!!

FYI for anyone using a th400 with these headers. My driver side 02 sensor hit the hit shifter lever when trying to engage park. You will have to relocate the bung for it to clear. I'd say it might depend on what mounts you are using as well I was using poly engine and trans mounts.

Look closely at the pic...that is a 3" pipe slid inside and welded. Goes to a 3" cutout, then necked down to the 2.75" over axle part, to Hooker Aerochamber to stock Z28 tips. Fairly quiet when closed and good flow (+10rwhp) when open.

Got these installed this weekend, took my 11 hours total with two people (car was bone stock, so removed manifolds and all stock exhaust, as well as AIR and EGR. I haven't gotten the exhaust after the collectors finished up yet. I had some duals to put on but they weren't going to fit worth a damn, so it's heading to the exhaust shop tomorrow to get them bent correctly.
All in all, great fit, very impressed. Had to grind down the DS of the block and remove steering shaft to get the DS in, but this was expected.
Does anybody know off hand if the TSP duals will fit these without any issues? I want a backup plan if i end up hating the duals the shop bends up for me.
Will get some pics if I have a chance, thank you again Sean!

SPEED ENGINEERING.....
Called you guys today to ask about the bolt holes in the flanges. They really should be drilled smaller so they fit the bolt size. There's no way to line the flanges up perfectly. They will work, yes......but all you guys have to do to improve your product is simply have the Chinese Manufacturer drill smaller holes to fit the bolt size.
My old Grotyohan headers we removed had the proper sized holes and they fit very snug and perfectly and evenly lined up with the ports.
With that said.....do you know anyone who has welded flanges to the collectors....instead of using slide on pipes with clamps....?
Mine after black ceramic coating:
