Probably going to pick up a set of 1 7/8 this fall. Has the problem with the driver side collector angle been fixed? I have a set of 1 3/4 and had to do some serious modifications to my y pipe.

Thank you for your business guys. Appreciate the comments....

Yes, we angled the drivers side collector down 3/8" a year or year and a half ago I believe.

Thanks
Sean

Received my 1 7/8s and y pipe just a few days after purchased. No issue with install. Installed with corsa mufflers from gto.

Would like to purchase a set for my 04 2500hd 6.0

I'm impressed by what I've seen on here of the quality, fit and price...

it looks like I'm going to replace my headers/y-pipe with SE's 1 7/8 pretty soon.

Yes, sir. We are finally coming out with a true dual dump and rear exit kit. Both have already been prototyped, sent back from the factory for test fitting, and ok'd. Our first batch of them should be around December or January. Both will be 3" systems.

Thanks
Sean

Looking forward for this to be available.
Judging by the fitment and build quality of the headers this should be a great product too.

Is it going to be 304 or 409 SS?

Finally got around to getting the 1 7/8 on my car the other day. I had the heads off too, with the heads off the passenger side will go in from the top and just sit out of the way. The drivers side won't go in from the top, so I put both heads on and got the engine back together.

The drivers side header was a breeze once I got the car up high enough. The only thing I had to remove was the steering shaft. Oil filter was still in place, and the header just slid up and into place.

Clearance is a little close to the k member on the drivers side, but I was lazy and didn't swap out my motor mounts. More than likely my fault. Great deal, great fitting headers. The only problem I have is the clamps are kinda not the right size at all, but this has been addressed already.

I will be looking into the true duals when they come out, and I'll also be buying some 1 3/4 long tubes for my 99 5.3 truck in the future.

Thanks again for the good work!

jblankenship: Unfortunately, we wont know a price until production is complete.

superchargedZ: There should be a few install pics throughout the thread, and I believe a couple customer install threads by themselves.

Thanks
Sean

Replace your motor mounts while your there. No one ever told me why, I just did it. If you need reasons why, they ask. Poly seems to be popular.
