Nice talking with you T2TA. Just a heads up concerning the clamps. We have finally received a decent set of clamps. After 3 years of complaining to the factory. They now fit properly with the wedge, and have much better clamping power. I think you guys will be much happier with our most recent batch of clamps.

Thanks
Sean

If I already have a set of your headers and am just going to order a y pipe by itself this time around, does the y pipe alone come with any clamps included? I would have just ordered it all at once from the beginning but my original plan was to run TDs so I didnt need the y pipe when i ordered the headers.

Anybody compare these to the tsp 1 7/8 headers? These are very appealing because of price but i havent seen many opinions on the power they produced

Many threads on this...(it's their thread so, wrong place to ask comparison). I have two sets of the SE 1 7/8" and they are the best bang for the buck out there (PLUG). Fit and finish are top notch. Do they make power? Again many opinions on this as well, depends on your set up.
I am extremely happy with mine

Thanks Sean. Just submitted order! Looking forward to getting them on.

Now just debating whether to delve into replacing motor mounts. 17k miles. Weekend car. But. I have feeling I may regret not doing when I'm installing the headers. Lol

Thanks again!

Which is the better gasket to use? Thanks again all!

Top one has dots and seems like material blend of metal and fabric.

Bottom one is all metal (and appears to have two layers each).

Thanks!!

All steel one - bottom gasket better.

I got both when I bought mine. I had to research which ones were the better ones. Hands down, the metal 2-layer ones are the ones to use. Good luck with your install.

Yes, the MLS gaskets are the way to go. We get the paper ones for free, so we just leave them in the box for you guys.

Thanks again..

Just ordered a second set in 1 7/8 this time.
Going for big cubes this time.
Hope the fitment with the OEM K member is as good as with the 1 3/4" version wich was excellent.

I have had my 1 3/4 on for over 2 years now, still going good. I have the first gen y-pipe that I had to slot myself so it would clamp better but have yet to have any issues at all with mine. I do recommend doing motor mounts while you are in that deep just to be on the safe side.
