I've got something similar on one of my motorcycles and things can get exciting if you forget to empty it periodically. You're afraid of what the oil vapors will do to your engine, imagine what a big slug of the slop in the can will do if it gets sucked in.

Raven05, That's why I would suggest that anyone having a catch can check it every two hundred miles for the first one thousand miles, at that piont you should have a good idea how often the catch can needs draining.

I used a air compressor air/water seperator for my catch can. Cost me like 15-20 bucks at the hardware store. I have had it on the car for over a year now and have never had to empty it. If I had to empty it it would be very easy the glass container screws off and since it is clear its easy to see if it needs to be emptied. My car just doesn't get that much blow by.
