I've already installed one set of pacesetters on a friend's car and I can tell you that the pacesetters slide right in. I've installed Mac Mids and SLPs and they were a pain. This will be my first true dual install. I will definitely let yall know how it goes and how it sounds.

Sweet Thunders are nice but if you've ever seen the insides of them its gonna cause more turbulence for the exhaust than a Bullet. I'm not sure how much this would affect power.

^I haven't seen any data to prove that the sweet thunder's flow poorly. They have a 2.5" core, so they should flow worse than a standard 3" muffler. However, find me a muffler that sounds better

Word of advice flip them turn downs 45 degrees out. It will save you some annoyances with sound and stuff.

Just by looking at the insides there is more material "in the way" of the exhaust than a Bullet. Just pointing this out. No I don't have data or numbers proving anything.

I think the sweet thunders will flow fine until a certain amount of HP, then they will choke the engine, kinda sucks to have a 3" system with basically 2.5" muffler beings that the core is 2.5". I would look into the powerstick mufflers if you plan on running a 3" chambered muffler.

Anything compared to a glass pack or "bullet" is gonna be more restrictive. Dude, it's a freakin muffler!! Muffler's reduce noise and change sound by having **** in the way.

Are those 24" mufflers from the inlet to the entry of the turndown? I am doing the same setup and without the x-pipe installed yet I am hoping the 18" sweet thunders will leave me room to go up and over the axle (those pipes are already in place.)

I finished installing the setup yesterday. Definitely not an easy chore. Would I do it again? Yes. It definitely sounds awesome and makes more power.

Here's my tips for installing this setup.

Setup the whole exhaust system where you can slide all of the pieces on and off very easily before you go to put it on the car.

Set up the X-Pipe with the hump facing down. The hump is where the two pipes are welded on the back of it.

I would use a pipe expander and open up the expanded ends a little more than what they were, especially the ones that slide over the headers.

I have to go for now, if I can think of anything else I will let yall know.

We ended up using a round sanding disc, used on a drill, and sanded the insides of all of the expanded ends, and sanded the outsides of the connecting ends. This method made it a little bit easier.

I had to bend the hangers on the mufflers forward about an inch to get them close enough to mount to the car.

This is why I am going with duals with sweet thunder mufflers.

I hung the mufflers a little crooked, but oh well. They work and have plenty of clearance. The car is sitting at stock height.

Under the lowest hanging part of the Pacesetters:

Under the center of the X:

Placed next to the lowest hanging parts of the turndowns:
