I looked at pictures of a 98 and a 2001 and they both had the same little muffler thing on the crossover. We need a picture to know what the hell we are talking about.

Here is my engine, can I get one of your LS1 versions with the 85mm inlet and fuel rails right now (and use my stock TB), or would I need to wait on your fuel rail regulator thingy?

I believe only 97 Vettes had the return fuel system. 98+ Vettes (and all F bodies) did not have a return system.

Ah, if that's the case, I'm good to go. I want one pretty soon and didn't want to wait around a month or two for that regulator kit.

I'm sorry, I meant the 85 mm intake manifold, not the TB. I didn't even realize that you were making a TB for it too.

I believe the 98 F-body's had a return system and the 99 and up are returnless. Although it's possible I could be wrong.

There was a time long ago when I thought I might be wrong but I was mistaken.

Two questions.

Will only Fbody 96mm tb's be made, or will there be a Corvette version too?

If I am replacing my LS6 motor with an stroked LS2, which version of the 96mm intake would I need?

98 F-bodies are a returnless fuel system.

Well then I guess I was mistaken. I know the 6 cylinders use a return style and for some reason I was always under the impression that the 98's were too.

Yeah my Z is an earlier '98 (production date was like Nov. '97), and I don't have a fuel return line either. I was confused when I heard that 97-98 had a return line because mine doesn't, lol. That would mean the LS1 F-bodies never had a fuel system with a return line.

Have you or do you plan to do any comparisons to the BBK SSI intake manifold? It's aluminum too with an 80mm opening and throttle body.

I think I'm going to order the polished 85mm one and do a couple of dyno runs to see how much better it is over my LS6. I just need to find out which throttle body to use to go with it...I don't want to keep my stock TB. I'll post up some results as soon as I get some.

Can you tell us all whether the LS1 85mm is shipping as I want to order one as well, but now I'm getting worried due to what blown90lx just said. If they are going to be delayed or something, can you please let us know?

BTW, on the polished versions, are they raw aluminum or do they have a clearcoat on them to protect the finish?

Thanks, that is probably something I should have known given my post count.

This 85mm version was tested on a h/c car against the Weiand and did well. The real test would be how it compares to the LS6 intake on a bolt-on car. It might prove to be too much intake for stock internals, like the Fast 90 is.
