Guess it isn't true duals anymore, but I definitely achieved my goals of making the car quieter and increasing clearance.
Sounds almost stock volume wise at idle/low Rpms and doesn't scrape on any normal bumps or driveways.
Sorry, not a fan of the quad tips, these look OK tho IMO.

Big thanks to Roger's exhaust shop in Fontana, CA. Great work, pricing and install time.

Maybe this weekend, cancelled my normal internet. Doing this on a Droid.
Don't want to give out an exact quote on their work. I provided the muffler and tips, and my total out of pocket cost for them, the rest of the parts, and the install was under $500.

the tubing itself was a kit from Flowmaster "U-fit Dual Kit" $220 wich included an H crossover pipe, that I never used. I ordered the mufflers seperate and the X pipe is custom. The mufflers are now painted flat black on the bottom half so they dont stick out like a sore thumb. I am 100% satisfied with the set up,the pictures do it no justice. The sound I am pleased with, there is nothing quiet about it and if you do not want attention drawn to you then I would not reccomend this setup.
oh yeah you will need a BMR relocation kit to make room for the BIG *** pipes over the axle

i dont run a h or x pipe, i know some people are going to argue with me but it wont be a noticable difference. and if you ever have to drop your tranny then the x or h pipe will be in the way.

Actually there is a noticible difference. Here's an example. I'm not sure why anyone would route their exhaust in such a way that it gets in the way of their trans removal, but if you need some examples that show true dual setups that aren't in the way of that process then just scroll up a few posts.
also, most (all) TD systems done right will have clamps of some sort, right off the headers and a few hangar bolts, and the entire exhaust will drop out. i know with my TSP TD's, i could have the entire exhaust system off in 10 minutes, provided the clamps cooperated and pipes didnt seize together with carbon and ****.
the longest it ever took me was 30 minutes because it was on the car over winter and some of the joints started rusting a little. i coated the pipes inside and out where the slip joints with antiseize and never had a problem again.

To those of you who have it piped under the axle on each side, do you have a problem with the pipes breaking when you lift the car up and the rear end rests at its lowest spot? I called a place and asked if they could pipe my duals out the back going under the axle and he said that if I ever had to lift the car up the pipes would break.

Well after not driving my car for a while due to my Loudmouth being too loud after the cam install and moving back to Cali, I finally decided to get a true dual system. It was done by Rogers Custom Exhaust Shop in Fontana, CA. Amazing work and even more amazing sound, also the clearance is better then stock! Just what I was looking for, QUIET. The system is stainless steel and mostly mandrel bent. Here's a list of mods - LS6 Intake, LS7 lifters, Stage 2 243's, PPTB, MS4 Cam, Pacesetter LT's, Magnaflow X pipe, Maganflow Dual/Dual Muffler. The car is a 2000 SS. Now, on to the goods...
Overall I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with the way it sounds!

X-Ray those lips will cause some distortion of the sound and divert exhaust flow a little (possibly causing rasp). If I were you I'd get a dremmel and grind the lips down to make them as smooth as possible.

Okay so I have LPP true duals with LPP headers but I am lowered on Strano Springs and KYB AGX's. I want to keep the true duals because they sound absolutely sick at WOT but I have NO CLEARANCE what-so-ever. I had to get a 1.5" spacer to put underneath the rear springs to give me more clearance but I sacrificed my handling. I want to take the spacer out but I'm not sure how to go about this.
