About to bite the bullet, who all is lowered with a td setup?? I'm running bmr springs, current setup is pc's lt's into a corsa catback. Rasp city, I hate it. Being lowered I'm worried about clearance with td's.

I'm lowered on Stranos and BMR a-arms I rarely scrape anywhere unless I'm going over speed bumps.

Kooks 1 7/8" Long tube headers with 3" Short Classic Chambered Powersticks band clamped to the collector of the header. I did the install last Sunday with the help of a friend, with new engine mounts, spark plugs with wires, new oxygen sensors.

current set up,sounds good, and makes good power, but i wonder if there's addition power to be had if i smoothed out the harsh elbows, for easier flow.

Ya buddy owns a exhaust shop so he did it for free so i didnt wanna complain about it, not exactly what i wanted but i think if u went with a x pipe you would free up some power and would sound pretty nasty.

Oh wow that's a horrible routing... Having pipes meet at 90* to each other kills flow....sound aside, I would rip that crap off and redo it. Should have run the pipes separate then add an H pipe between the 2 pipes.

Was this dumped after the mufflers coming off the headers? Or was there pipe running to the back out the rear bumper?

You need to trim the hangers that are after the x pipe. Are the hooks on the hangers just secured by squeezing them under bolts with large washers???

Exactly how you see the photo is how it was in the video. As of today it has an X pipe and is dumped just before the rear diff.

Thanks DaSkinnyGuy.

I'm debating whether I want to change my exhaust to true duals. I would like to tuck the Y pipe up higher to avoid scraping and possibly custom make an oval pipe.

But then running dual 2.5" (since I have no need for anything bigger) over my Watts link may be tight. Honestly I'm debating to spend money on mandrel bends and the time to make it if I won't benefit much from it HP wise.

I went from a mild hooker aerochamber cat back to headers and true duals.. Even if there were no power gains, the sound is so much more intoxicating.

just wanted to share two set ups I built a while ago, one was a 2.5" over the axle set up and the other was a 3" ovaled setup stepped down to 2.5" and then under the axle.

Sound clip of 2.5" x-pipe, over axle.
