Default Fuel purge solenoid disconnect

I need to transfer my fuel purge solenoid to my fast intake. I cannot figure out how to remove it from my old intake. I'm destroying the grey clips more and more evrytime I try. How the heck do I remove this damn thing?

Evap solenoid.....connected to the intake manifold with a little "L" bracket. Not very secure at all, comes right off. Look closely and you'll see what I mean. Since you're putting a nice pretty Fast 90mm intake, you should consider doing the "evap relocation" mod. Cleans up the intake are quite well.

They come apart by sliding sideways at the break point.

Never mind, I thought you meant a different clip. The one you mean, I've never taken apart. Looks to me like it must pull up.

yeah I got it. I can't believe it was that easy now I feel like an idiot. I tried everything except for pushing it in and now the clip is mangled it's still functional though!
