Thumbs up No More X... H Pipe OWNZ ALL!!!!

All pics at the bottom.. Some vids too

Well as you all know i had QTP LTs + MagnaFlow O/R X + MagnaPacks.. Wow i hated that system so bad!!!!!!!!!!!! Here my thoughts of of the x and magnapacks.. At idle it was deep and bassy. At crusie WAY TOO QUIET AND TAME. And at WOT, yea they screamed. But not my taste.. High Pitched and Racy sounding..

Now for the H and 1 chamber flows that is all i ahve to say.. but wow, here it goes.. this is my new set up and it is not going anywhere.. QTP LTs + Custom O/R H Pipe + 1 Chamber FLows.. WOW, let me see at idle, i can sit there all day and listen to it idle it is that sexy. Deep, bassy and growls.. At curise it is deep, little on the tame side, but you can hear it.. At WOT.. um let me see.. You will wake the dead, All cops about 15 miles away will hear you, and you may need ear plugs i dont know what else to say...

Here are the pics. first the x and magnapacks. Sorry it rained all day so the under carriage is dirt

And here are the pics of the H and 1 Chambers..

Here are some real quick vids

X pipe and MagnaPacks

H pipe and 1 Chambers.

Thumbs up

And now we NEVER have to see another exhaust thread from TORCHD 02 TA again. haha, j/k Jonas!

Man, I can't wait to hear this new set-up in person and go for a ride!

But if you think that sounds good, just wait until you throw in a choppy cam. Either way though, it is absolutely the SICKEST, most unique sound on the LS1.

Enjoy your new exhaust,

Mike

PS - I used to think it was defeaning at WOT. Still is for everyone else, but not me since I've probably lost some of my hearing since I installed my TD's (H-pipe) + Flowmaster 1-chambers dumped a couple months ago

Clearance is not a problem with that type of setup if its done right. I just built a system in 2.5" like that and it has plenty. With 3" the mufflers would be 4" thick which will give less.

You only need to beat in the floor where the mufflers are and you can tuck the mufflers as high as the pipe.

Jay, you will have to see it.. What you are seeing is me taking that pic at angle.. The red ramp is no where near the under carriage like the pic shows..

That really sounds great! I've been trying to decide between H or X when i get my LT's....I think you helped be decide because i already knew i was getting flows. I cant wait. Is it cheaper to get a H dumped than an X? Im just curious.

Guys, an exhaust video clip never sounds anything close to what it sounds like in person...A camera just can't pick up the "bass" or true tone of the set-up...
