Default What numbers should i expect ls1 setup

Hello to you all.
Building a Ls1 with a friend. What hp numbers should we expect from a ls1 setup like this. Stock 853 heads. Compcams XR281Hr-12, 85mm throttle body,
42lb Lucas injectors, stroker kit with new crank, pistons, and rods. 373cid
10,7 comp. Will be tuned with EfiLive.
The heads will be changed next year, when he's wife have forgotten all this.
If he hasn't moved to somebody's basment..lol
have a nice day folks.

are these the cam specs: 228/230 .571/.573 112LSA

should be a torque machine!!

with stock heads....assuming an ls6 intake...i would think 400rwhp should be no problem. decent heads and it should make 450rwhp easy and probably >425ftlbs of torque.

Yea stock heads your not looking at much more than 400whp. A decent set of heads could get it anywhere from 450-500rwhp depending on drivetrain setup and tuning.

it might not make the numbers you are hoping for as those heads might hold you back. but it should make a good sleeper!! i would say with a m6 405rwhp
and a4 380rwhp.good luck

Yeah the heads will hold you back, i'd agree with fatmat80 low 400's through an M6 and high 300's through an auto. goodluck on the build.

I have a 383 with the stock 853's and an ms3 cam and made 415rwhp through a turbo 350 4000 stall. Carbed. can't tell you the torque as dyno graph started at 5200.

Shouldn't i get almost the same power out of this engine?
The heads are not ported. We should see 380-400 RWHP?
