Default Whats this? Pics

Hey guys. I just bought a new transam and learning the mods. What is this thing with red cap. I thought oil catch can but it has clean fuel in it, no oil. The hose runs to the back right injector.

Oil catch can. It's running to the pcv port on the valve cover, not the injector. It shouldn't have fuel in it. Are you sure it's fuel?

Im sure this guy is going to have a heart attack but that is an understatement if he has fuel in the oil.

Any idea what could cause fuel to get into the catch can? Ive driven the car around hard and it feels fast, no hesitation.. not smoking.. definitely gassy smell but with the tune and all dont know whats normal..

does it have larger injectors? who tuned it? i bought a camaro before that the previous owner basically gave up on and it had larger injectors...cam and boltons ect but it had no tune. The oil smelled like gas real bad, i put some fresh oil in it and got a good tune and it was fine after

and you may want to look up to see if that pvc system routing is correct with that breather, hard to tell from the pics

Or it could also be an injector(s) stuck open. Which is the same as an incorrect tune (running way too rich). You dont notice anything starting, driving, hot starts? No bogging down or cutout?

An injector staying open is the same as an incorrect tune?

You need to stop driving it till you get it figured out!!!! You are washing the oil out of the cylenders and going to destroy the engine. Can only hope you havn't done much damage already!

put your hand over the oil filler tube on the right valve cover,if you feel pressure you got piston ring blow by.maybe remove a injector and check the parts number.try a mail order tune to make sure it is running right.
