Just wondering how they do relative to one another. Are the differences too small to matter?
I will start with saying that Ed is a friend of mine and I think he has some great cams. His street sweeper ht has been the standard in high torque camshafts for years, especially in the gto crowd. Since I'm un aware of the icl that camshaft is ground on it's hard to compare the two even on paper. Ed also has that cam ground on a true set of proprietary lobes and not lobes someone says are proprietary, but really aren't.

The difference between the two cams really comes down to overlap. My camshaft has more overlap which 9/10 makes for a stronger torque curve. The differences are really so slight that it's truly just splitting hairs.

Sounds great! I think your set up will be very strong.

Not yet unfortunately. Hopefully very soon I'll have some results. It would be a great cam for your set up for sure though.

Yeah they do but they're only strict about safety like brakes, ebrake, suspension, tires and body corrosion, as long as the exhaust db is not too loud I'm fine, That's why I have Magnaflow, LOL!!!

I was in Ansbach when the 98-99's came out, my Cpt brought his Camaro over. Took me for a ride on the autobahn, it was the fastest time we ever made it to Rammstein

If anything like my Stage 2, the cameras dont do it justice lol. Mine sounds rough being untuned and all. Going nuts with dry 50* weather and can't freaking do anything but look at it til April 8. Lol.

Sounds great! Honestly how does it feel compared to the Trak camshaft you had? Or was it the RapTR cam you had?

I had the TRAK Cam, It's definitely a big difference but I can tell that the heads made a difference too. I'm not worried about the valve springs being stressed anymore and this cam actually makes great power all over the RPM powerband. It pulls so hard that my clutch is giving out and my injectors are 100% on the duty cycle, I can't wait to actually get a better tune with bigger injectors and a clutch. And of course Dyno numbers.
