So the 370 will have forged pistons and valve reliefs so, gap the rings for a 200?

LOL.

Thompson has the lead. But LME isn't far off on price and waiting to hear back from Koenig on an HKE 370...

I think Scoggin Dickey has a new LS3 based 396. That'd be pretty bad *** with some nostalgia to boot.

Glad you picked up that FLT. That was a HELL of a deal.

Got the ok from the wife for an LS2 block with 2 trashed cylinders. That's going to ERL for either a 441 or a 454.

I sort of wish I had went into this wanting to build up a 418 or something. I might have gone with TFS 245 heads. Everything else would have been the same... LOL.

No sense in buying a 418 now. Those are like $5700. I'd have to buy ANOTHER cam. And probably sell these heads.

Meh.

Watch out on the 4.100 and 4.125 crank. I understand it can cause piston rock. Talk to ERL for sure. I think they'll lean you towards a 4.00 crank. Personally, if/when I change to a LS2/3 platform, I think I'll look at a 3.90 crank.

Jake, there's always going to someone who has more power, regardless of the motor you build.
IMO, just get it built so you can start enjoying it.

If you go big cubes (4.065 or larger bore) don't cheat yourself, LS3/7 head it! Power is unreal. MUCH better design IMO. With those cubes, it doesn't take a major cam to produce serious power.

True statement! That said, I see where you're coming from Jake, since you're already in it, why not go big!

Something to be said for staying small and spinning it to the moon! 7600-7800? Heck, how far does that tack go?

I really want to keep the stock stroke. I actually thought I wanted to do a 370 from the beginning. I'll probably just put it together and enjoy 500/460 for a while. And spray 200 once in a while...

If I get the 370 I'll be close... I'll run flat tops and then just swap to 72cc
Heads... 10:1 for a very lively turbo...

So, has the cam arrived?

Are you done w/ the 346 and moved straight to the 370?

A Borg Warner S480 with the 92mm wheel and 1.0 AR housing would be ****...just had one on a 5.7 make 895/905 on 21psi with my LS2 Stage 2 turbo cam in Foose04's reg. cab Silverado. Stock 317 heads and a Pro-Flo.

10:1 on ethanol....oh yea it was through a 4L80E and truck drive train as well.

I haven't given up on the 346 yet. Else I would have purchased the 370 already. LOL.

If I were a single man, I'd have twin turbos on a Z06 pushing 1500rwhp... (yes, the 346 is still in the mix because I am not a single man - well I might be when this is all said and done...)

Cam is not here yet.

Good news is the PCM made it to Geoff. I emailed him the FIC tuning file for the injectors today and passed on Chuck's recommendations for the trans.

Sweet. Yes, it's amazing how marriage has a vacuum that sucks money!

A C6Z would be in my garage, but then I got a wife! Money drain! Oh well, there's great gain in contentment!

Have to be glad we can have fun with these toys!
