So I decided on Morel 5206 link bar lifters. I have ordered them. I have a question about the preload on them though. I was reading that Morel suggests .045 to .050 but I was also reading that they are quite noisy at that preload and many are actually running closer to .090 preload on them, is this safe to do and is there any truth to this?

On another note my A-arms from UMI shipped yesterday and my road race kmember ships today. My camshaft should have shipped yesterday and I am waiting to hear back from AI on my heads status.

Ha, it has been of late. However, I didn't get anything around Christmas since I knew I was going to be spending serious cash on my car so I saved the funds for that so this build is my Christmas present from my wife (meaning she has no problem with all the money I am spending on my car) lol.

The hood I have that I am going to get fitted once the engine is installed. Also I think I am going to get these wheels since they are 18x9.5 front and 18x11 in the rear which will work well with my CTS-V brembos since they have a 53/50 offset

Looks pretty nice the way it is. I want the VFN 5" WS6 hood. In time I'll get one, but have other things I want before that.
