Default Car feels slow with 243 ported heads and MS4 Cam

Car is sooo slow with an MS4 and 243 ported heads. The car has MS4, 243 ported heads, Exhaust, 4200 stall, LS6 intake and it feels so dog slow. It doesn't have a tune yet but I'm hoping that will fix it. It does have a makeshift tune with 36-37 degrees of timing where it should be.

This is my Fiances car and we raced it against my 00 Camaro which has a 232/238 598/601 Lift cam, Stock Heads, Stock LS1 Intake, straight piped, slp lid and a P&P Throttle Body. I pulled on it pretty good from a 40 roll with my car.

There is one culprit I could suspect is that the nitrous lines run through the intake filter(There is no Filter) random aftermarket lid and is welded on to the maf sensor, so it is pointing behind the sensor that reads it.

An MS4 and ported heads on a stock tune?

My car went from 340whp mods no tune baseline to 420whp post tune. Power before mods was 327whp.

37 is very high. That's like off throttle vacuum timing. You are probably maxing out knock retard.

WOT should be in the 24-30* range.

You put in a humongous cam and ported heads but you didn't tune it? I'm surprised you haven't blown it up yet, heck I'm surprised it even drives.

Get that **** tuned quickly or else you'll be buying a new engine real soon. And it will make the car feel much better. Right now it's probably running worse than stock.

And no filter...you're just asking for it right now.

Agreed ^^^. Its probably a little rich at idle and waay lean up top, the timming is too high and probably getting some KR also. Get a mail order tune until you can get it dyno tuned.

I said it has a tune. Just not from a reputable tuner. Its not rich at idle and runs great driving around town. Just slow at WOT. Lol like this is my first rodeo

sounds like "no tune" would be better than that particular "makeshift tune"

Why do you have two threads going on regarding the same stupid *** question? Can a Moderator lock both of these up. Instead of taking the time to post two exact same threads, put down the keyboard, pick up the phone, call a tuner, take the car to get tuned, get back in the car, drive it, and proceed wish you could have gone back in time before you made an *** of yourself and created both of these threads.

That's the understatement of the century right there. What tuner sets timing at 36* at WOT with those mods?

It runs slow because there's to much aluminum on the plugs.
