Alright, so. Dealing with these springs, has me a little uneasy.

I ordered the .685 lift springs. I’ve bought probably 15 sets of their .650 springs. Never an issue.

My box says these are .650 springs. So they sent me the wrong springs I assume?

call them up, they tell me that the .685 springs and the .650 springs are the same kits, just the .685 lift springs don’t have shims and that’s why they have more lift capability.

So, that means the .685 lift springs would have more lift capability but less spring pressure. Not necessarily what you would be after when going from a .650 lift spring to a .685 lift spring because your cam is too big for the .650
lift spring.... Also, the .685 lift springs cost another $50-80 off the top of my head..... I have to say I’m really concerned about these springs now, and not confident in the fact that they will handle my engine.... Not quite sure what to do here now.

Do you have a way to check the pressures?

Quarter panels showed up. Plan to paint the car a Baja bronze, with holographic silver flake and orange pearl. Will be darker than the car above, and not hve the ugly cream top lol

I don't want to know how much you've put into this car, but this is a really cool project. Since you built it under quarantine, you should name it BioHazzard or something

Tons of effort, but probably not as much $$ as you would think lol. That’s actually a really cool idea. I’ve been calling it the junkyard dog because if it’s raggedy yet aggressive appearance, how ever that probably won’t be real fitting with a fancy Kandy paint job lol

Looks awesome. What brand TB is that? I wonder how the new split Holley cathedral intake, compares to the Super Vic cathedral intake. I was thinking of buying the Holley but i live overseas and nobody had one here in stock and i didn't really want to wait 3 weeks for one.

I'm doing a Super Vic / 4150 tb on mine this week as an experiment. Intake should be here tomorrow but i spent some hours prepping the TB which arrived this morning. I grinded down the throttle shafts/screws some for more flow, fitted the sensors and then re-routed wiring etc to the sensors. I'm going to cut a nice hole in the hood and run a velocity stack so it can breathe properly.

Its a pro comp throttle body lol. Was like $180 lol. Everything I’ve seen on the limited results I can find shows the holley making around 10 more hp than the super Vic

10hp is something.

BTR did 9hp / 4ft/lbs gain with the Holley over Super Vic for the LS3 version, but i haven't seen any back to back with the cathedral one.

$180 for that throttle body? lol nice buy. I paid $480 for mine with 15% ebay special and i thought i was getting a decent deal.

I don’t think that’s on sale either, they had a few listed for that price.

Is there any reason that you went to a 350 vs a 400?

Honestly main reason was I had a tci 350 lying around here that I wanted to use up, that was supposed to be a simple rebuild. Had I know I was going to dump $600 into hard parts I probably would have just bought a th400.

But, it’s a lighter trans, slightly steeper first gear, and had some good parts already in it. With my car weighing less than 3000# with my 230# butt in it I fee
like it should handle it pretty well.

Made a change. Just dropped $1140 on paint, primer and glamour clear to duplicate this color on my car. Super nervous about his part lol. Also ordered the tail light panel that I needed. Can’t freaking wait.
