Just your thoughts
Comp XE Grind 3755R/3756R HR112+2 (228/232 .538/.542) 110 CL
Dur @.006 281/285
VT @.050 open / close
int 4btdc 44abdc
ex 50bbdc 2atdc
After long hours of deliberation between my tuner and Comp, this was the end result.
Only other goodies will be LT's no cats, UD pulley and of course, a good tune.
This is not a daily driver that will see limited track use. Mostly just for ***** out fun.

I have .560 lift on my cam. When I do heads I will do a new cam with about .615 lift. There was a really good article on being a cam expert. I think it was in Hot Rodding a few months ago. A smaller duration cam with more lift made more power then a higher duration cam with less lift. The higher duration cam just made a lettle more RPM.

yeah,if it isn't driven all the time why not get the xer lobes with the same duration and pick up some power.i think it would be something like the 228/232 .588/.595 on a 112 +2 or a 110.

Good points. They seemed to think I would be wasting the high lift on the stock heads...if that makes sence. And to save the valvetrain some.
Its still up in the air.
Thanks

Aside from a slight increase in maintenance, the more lift the better. LSK (most agressive Gen III hydrualic roller lobes to date) lobes would make more power than a lower-lift lobe with the same duration at .050" especially on a stock motor. When looking for good power with stock heads it's important to have a good lobe profile. As head flow potential increases lobe aggressiveness becomes less critical, but this is not your case.
