Default biggest cam on ls1 w/ dart 225?

just as the title says, what is the biggest cam you can match up to a set of dart 225 heads with a stock ls1? they are 62cc heads, have some porting but no milling.

would like to run something like a trex

how much do most shops charge to flycut pistons?

T-rex, please. you could go bigger than that. Ms4 should do the trick... Why do you want a stupid big cam though?

I would maybe do a search to see if someone is running a similar setup. I also like to check the Dyno threads to see actuall results as well as the dragstip threads....

That way you pick the setup that would work best with your setup.

Also Look up Preditor Z or PAtrick G and they could help you out....

Just because you have a big cam doesn't mean you will make big power. Patrick G made a thread on how to get to 500 hp with a stock cubed LS1....

I'd read that and do some research rather than just trying to take je blows biggest cam and hope you hit your goal

Well on motor alone I put done 462rwhp on Dynojet with sae 5 smoothing... That ant bad on a stock cube ls1. That was in 87%humidity at 84 degrees f.

I run an MS3 cam with PRC 5.3 heads and a FAST 90/90..... with a tune.

how about an f14 high lift? i hear they make great numbers on the dart heads and there is no flycutting involved.

cam specs are
232/234_112 .646/.612 lift.

^ I have that set up, has 8 or 9 degrees of overlap which kept us from being able to mill the heads any (as I understand it).

fly cutting is what you have to do when your valves are going to make contact with your pistons. you have to have your pistons cut to make more space.
