Also I installed the intake and then realized I forgot the steam lines. Like a dumbass. It looked good anyway...

No sweat Jake. You’ll end up tightening and re-tightening that thing like 49 times anyway. Consider it practice. Merry Christmas big guy!

Lol no joke. The kit came with o rings around the bolts which I think will help keep a little tension on the bolts so they stay tight one tightened.

Oh whale. Not gonna touch it today.

Looking good. Gonna be a beast. If the intake bolts loosen that often how about using a correct size spring washer under the head of the intake bolts. Spring washers seem to work well for me where I don't want to tighten the crap out of the bolts, but also don't want them loosening.

For sure. I usually use them on the intake bolts. It was more just a comment that MSD seems to be responding to feeedback by adjusting the kit contents. When I did the LS1, the manifold only came with the thick washers and bolts.

Not runting yet, but it is getting closer. I am at the button up phase. I tore some spark boots on tear down which will be the only hold up at this point. Headers are in and torqued down. Not much left other than waiting in a couple of odds and ends.

New headers also? I just tried to go back through the thread to see if you mentioned it, but I get caught up reading every word, and I have to be at a baseball game in an hour.

Yeah I had really bad paint. When I repainted I went to pewter. Because Pewter. Engine bay is original color.
