Intakes to tall. Which comes back to my point. 400 + cfm head and a trash intake. Jesus is needed as these guys sell you stuff that has no purpose. A 370 cfm intake but sold you a 420cfm head. Who does this...and doesn't come up with a fix. Reason I don't like Mamo.

You sell a product that's so great yet fails to fully be used as 99% of the guys who use him aren't races but want race engines that go unnoticed.. which requires a low profile intake. That's like giving me 100 dollars and saying I can't spend but 70 of it.

i said something the other day that I asked Darth never to forget? Anyone= porter, builder, etc if they recommend or say to put anything on my heads that hinders filling the cylinder without a fix...I can't use them.

If you see it! Get it as it makes hp. Not 77% of it. Power can be had anywhere in the RPM range if you get it in that cylinder I spoke on. How does a over bored 5.3 win the Race Engine Challenge? Dudes getting it in and making a explosion better than the other guy. If 400 +cfm is seen your

The cylinder is filled after the piston passes BDC and it’s not the static flow at 28” that makes that happen.

Darth velocity is great.... ok we got that and makes for a good head. My entire point is as G would say: my inner circle go by the belief that what you said is correct but....fail to get the point of trying or Wanting to get 90% of whats known going in the cylinder. Doesn't matter who says what or what they may think. If your losing 30+ cfm because of a intake your losing power. Added with you had a 400 +cfm head that got whacked down by 30 to 40 cfm.


​​​​​​A person must want to have a solution. I'm not leaving $ - hp on the table because of a intake. And all we talk about is heads and how they work. Yeah I got 420 cfm with these heads but get 380's out of them with the intake on. Sounds funny but this is what's happening.

And I don't like it for my friend.

MSD nor any other BS plastic intake can feed the heads we have out right now.

​​It's luv guys....i want you guys to get what you paid for and talk about. You say 400+ I want u guy's to have that available with the intake on or at least be in the hi 390 range with it on. You gotta want it. A Close mouth don't get fed.

I hear you man. I just do not think it is as bad as you think with the Mamo msd. Out the box yeah. Fast 102 will walk it.

Ok, lets keep this thread on track. Its a good one. Alot of this info is regurgitated from other active threads. I like that Darth throws all his cards on the table. Im into seeing his latest results. Sorry Darth, your build aint the top 1%, but im still digging all the technical info from past, present, and future results! We dont need to set records to be happy. We just need forward progress, as anything new will be learned and taken away from that.
