I'm not sure what to think about that one.
You are 50lb over the max recommended pressure.
I'm surprised there isn't a pro street version like mine.
I would speak to Tony about this.

Everybody calm down. What's been done is eating into safety margin. it's part of hot rodding, if not the very definition of hotrodding. it's no different than taking stock rockers (rated to .550 lift) and running at .625 lift. You run with less room for error and a reduced lifespan on the part. Or running BTR dual plats on LS7 lifters, which is well past the "rated" spring pressure. or putting a 4" stroke in a LS1,2,3 block, which was designed for 3.622. Or punching out a stock LS7 from 4.125 to 4.130. Or putting a stock 4.8L under 15 pounds of boost, which it was never designed for.

I'm calm. I was just wondering about the safety of going over.

Before I installed I talked to everyone, I spent a yr n a half deciding on parts for my engine. Rockers were the only part I was second guessing, I even bought a set of Jessel"s . My thinking in the end was if I can't trust someone with the credentials tht Mamo has, I can't trust anyone, and it's rare to lose an engine due to a broken rocker arm.
in saying that the Jessel will go on when springs r changed

lose a rocker I'll just replace n b good to go

I wonder though going from a yella terra to something like a jesel, do you even notice the difference in terms of how engine feels or is it more to ensure strength and reliability with high spring pressures?

I would probably just leave what you have.
I had ultra lites for nearly 10 years and being at 450lb open pressure I never had issues.
I just realised that now.
Those were the 2nd Gen LS3 rockers I had in there.

They all fail eventually. It is just fatigue and the nature of the beast. Everyone assumes you spend $1800 on rockers and that makes them live longer. Thats just not the case. All you can do is inspect yours a couple times a year and look for signs. Bort glad to see your comment about the ultra lites with 450 open. In the end my goal was to use them to achieve the .680 lift on the new cam. I might just pull the trigger on some new springs now lol Thanks

I totally agree with this. Either way, I’m in for results

Hey guys.
Another part has arrived:

To compliment the FAST 102mm intake

The intake from Tony is also being delivered tomorrow too.

The intake is here too.
Tony's port work is quite impressive.
Very precise and even.

I had a bit of an issue with manifold today thanks to my inexperience.
I took out the runners to ensure there were no plastic shavings inside.
I cleaned it all out and put it together and then the top shell wouldn't close.
I realised that the cylinder number 7 runner has a slightly different angle and this needs to be at the rear.
Once I did that, I thought all was good until I realised I had mixed up the runners so the ports were mismatching a little.
I had to slowly and carefully figure out which runner went where so I was glad I got down to the last 3 and everything turned out well. Everything was once again matching.
I put the two bolts at the front and the three bolts at the rear and I noticed that the two shells were not completed sealed shut. There was a slight gap.
I messaged Tony and he said it's normal till the rest of the hardware/bolts go on and then it will seal perfectly. I was relieved.
Been a stressful day and this was my first ever experience doing this.

Haha.
I wasn't bored.
And no I didn't mock up the fuel rails although I should have now that you mentioned it.
It was a learning experience.

Glad i got them out.
Bortous, post a picture or two of these so called plastic shavings. With Tony’s attention to detail, and his super clean assembly program, I don’t see how a single piece of plastic made it to you.
