I think that's a good idea! But in doing so, some form of evidence must be shown just so we don't get petty sour grapes entries.

Really shouldn't of been bad at all with that truck. About as comfy as you can get. I will bet you didn't even know it was behind you. How many times did you freak out to see if it was still back there. LOL

Can't remember if you already said, but what did you have to give for that if you don't mind me asking. Also, what all did you get with it? Looks like a pretty nice setup.
Congrats.

No you really don’t feel it back there, but with no front window it is killin the mpgs lol. I freakin love this truck best/ most responsible thing I have ever bought.

I paid $10k, I’ll post up when I get back to the shop on Tuesday but quick rundown,
New parts
optic armor front and rear
fire suppression system
window net and mount kit
Griffen radiator
trans cooler with fan
tube travel limiters
lower control arm drop brackets
and a couple of other boxes full of stuff

The car has a Moser 9” 4.56s aerospace drag brakes front and rear, full BMR front suspension with k member, Afcos rear and strange front coil overs, carbon wing, champion wheels, wolf mini tubs, fiberglass dash, 16” krkiy seat, BMR battery relocation kit.

All of the front suspension and Moser 9” will be moved to the black car and my new MWC parts will go on the red car. Then the black car will go up for sale to recoup some money.

Sounds like a plan. Was the red car originally a TexasSpeed test car?

it’s not the car that had the Sbe record but the original owner worked for tsp and was building it at the same time

The car got back to the shop with no issues, I got right to work on it. I made more progress in 2 hours than the chassis shop did in a year!!

Well the car may be just a smidge low… got the rear hatch off and spent an 2 hours getting the old roof off and test fitted the Magg carbon roof.

Got a little work done on the car, ended up pulling about another 25 lbs out of the roof. I’m going to have the fabricator box it in with tin just to clean it up a little, there maybe another pound or two that’s can be removed.

Also got the mount for the shifter, so now I can move the seat and dash around, crossing my fingers that dropping the seat I fit better in the car.

Can you loose the bar spacing the seat back and just bolt the seat back to the cross bar? Looks like you might gain a lot of room. Hard to tell in the pictures. We put our seat directly on the floor as well as all the way against the cross bar. Helped a lot.

Yes we can, the cage was built to put the full interior back in so the bars a lower than they could be. Also me being 6'1 doesn't help things, the seat is on a 1" riser so we will cut that out and move the seat back and will see where it sits.

So the original owner installed factory hardtop parts, I already had the MWC deletes. the OEM parts were 4.60 lbs each, the MWC .5lbs each. Total we pulled 35 pounds out of the roof.
