You could probably reverse engineer some flow #'s of a stock intake flowed on a stock or ported stock 823 head and look at where the .550-.600#'s are and guesstimate that is actually how much is getting used when the valve is open. Maybe
You can see in the pictures and dyno video that he had the FAST intake on.

Post #9 has great comparable flow details of a rod modded LS3 intake.

Have you already flycut the pistons?

You'll want a ~5500-6000 stall converter for the big boy there haha. It'll be fine on the dyno obviously just to learn what it does.

I'd actually think you're going to want to keep the long runner intake for the big cam that IVC is pretty late for a short stroke engine.

With a victor jr single plane a 239/251 on 110+2 cam did amazing in a SBE ls3. Similar overlap as your big cam, but way different valve events. Peaked at ~7400. Chassis dyno number isn't amazing, but that's through a 10 bolt, 6000 stall converter and powerglide on slicks. It did work on track we went a best of 10.13 at 131-ish at a slow track in our '80 malibu station wagon. That was such a fun engine. One of the flycut pistons let go at 750 runs.

Sorry to hear that, hope you can get it back in action soon. What happened, rod let go? There is a complete L92 in the classified that just got listed if you need a core.

Not surprising. It was just gut feeling. I wonder what brand valve and the weight.

did it ruin the short block?

Exactly why I asked this, although your saying he didn’t put REV in yours. After the dust settles, I’d be interested in knowing what valve he used in yours.
