Ran a built lt1 6th gen with cid heads, huge cam, high high compression, highram with a meth plate, trans brake 10 speed. Gutted, full suspension etc. Lol its basically a low-mid 9 sec n/a race car . He gave me 1 car for $500 a side. And the mfin VETTE got it done!! He spun, and i treed him. I was the underdog by FAR lol even eith a 1 car head start . He said it makes high 600s to the tire.

Making money is always a good thing and it's been said that if you find a job that you love then you'll never work a day in your life. It Isn't true though because I'm tired of seeing numbers unless it's those numbers that I get to use for race car parts.
My C5 is a high ten sec car in cool weather at the track that hooks.
My local track that not only doesn't prep, they haven't scraped it in months and it runs 11.20. Pretty hard to hook up on balled up loose rubber.
Of course it's just a cathedral port L99.
I believe it will hook better in front of my house.
If there is street racing in Portland, OR, I'm not privy to the facts. Too old to be arrested, lose my license and car. But diff part of the world up here.
I'm betting these street racing sites with a lot of rubber down hook pretty good.
I like to see time slips just to compare my handiwork with others. That's it.

Nice! Friend has a stock converter C6 with a small cam and headers, dyno'd ~440hp and runs 11.0 on street tires like clockwork. I'd guess 470 would be 10.7'ish.
His car is easily a 10 second ride. My bolt on LS3 C6 went 10.58 @ 131
10's are not that hard to achieve in this day and age. There's a C6 GS with dry sump here which will be getting some BR3's and new camshaft one of these days.
Coolest thing about the street I've seen or Found is ...There's No Help with it's Not Hooking and Booking. It's fast Just not on the Street moto...and it's Easy $. Faster cars are some times Given a Reality check with the Non Prep surface..

It's all about the Hustle...as the Street isn't prep'ed that when you Walk you Hear your Foot steps from all the Glue. Only thing to help besides having a Good setup is Electronics....Holley EFI with the Davis T/C ring any bells?
