Glad to hear the car could have run as you hoped. Let me guess...I-64 hold you up a little? Looking forward to future updates....

A few people have PM'd me lately asking what's going on with the car and if there were any winter changes.

It's still a work in progress but I'm running out of things to do. Traction remained a problem on the street. It would spin the 315 PS2's all the way through 3rd and at the bottom of entrance ramps merging with traffic. I tried a set of MT ET Street II's hoping for traction without killing handling. Traction was great but they were very unstable the way I like to bend the car.

Part of the solution was to put a set of 345's on the back which required new wheels and L5 flared rear quarters. Traction is better and I think about as good as I'm going to get without going with a very soft tire. My concern with that is not tire life - I could give a rats *** - but more picking up stuff out on the road without a spare.

Here's the car as it sits now...

Money shot!

I wonder how it would run with about 7 or 8 more lbs of atmosphere...

honestly don't think he's considering the intake restriction. With unlimited intake airflow i could easily see 40rw.

So, we do the heads with an LS7 intake that I can pickup cheap. Sell the L92's and FAST which someone already wants and talk to John Marcella next winter about a low profile long runner intake and sell the LS7 intake...

Sounds pretty simple when I say it like that.

I like it Kevin ....just give yourself PLENTY of time with one of John's creations.

You do know that "simple" ls7 heads will turn into a Mast or PI masterpiece for a little extra dough.

the heads are our new ls7 heads coming out. we use Brodix castings and the porting skills of WCCH to create an awesome head for a reasonable amount of money. I'll have pics next week.

oh yeah-I don't make anybody do anything,I simply make suggestions
