Default Street Racing in San Diego

RaceLegal.com Presents: Tomorrow night 7/18 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego: Street Racing on an 1/8 mile track!

$30 to race and $8 to spectate. Gates open at 6pm and racing until midnight.

ALL RACERS WELCOME!

ALL YOU NEED IS A HELMET, SLEEVED SHIRT AND LONG PANTS.

AS LONG AS YOU CAN DRIVE YOUR CAR ON THE STREET, YOU CAN RACE HERE!

Yea, we just run for the border and pick up some taco bell.... I mean, run for the border and hit the 1/4 mile tracks in tecate.

How strict are they in Mexico with street racing??

One of the SD-area Indian casinos ought to build a
track. Nobody to say they can't, right? Not like the
friggin' local governments and yuppy whiners have
any authoritah out in the sand. They could let people
race for cash and bet, too. I like this plan.

they arnt...as long as you have money. no money, you go to jail. for anything. with money, you can hit a person and pay the cops off. (southern mexico anyway)

more twords the border they are more strict.

i know because when i lived in texas my friend adn i would visit his hometown behucos (southern mexico)

30 bux is way too expensive to race in an 1/8th its 20 here and i wont even pay that

We used to go to these when I was in high school out at the Q, used to be "Beat the Heat" events.

Glad to see you guys are still around, I remember you guys posting on SDSR and SRO.

You're thinking right - Barona has one. But it's only 1/8 mile.

Didn't know they had them there. Tecate is about 1/2 hour from where I lived in East County.
