'02 6.0L complete engine & 4L80E transmission
6.0L complete engine and transmission pulled from a 2002 Chevy 3/4 ton, 2wd truck. It also has 317 casting heads. The engine is complete in nature and still has the computer, wiring harness, intake, etc.... It also has a 4L80E (2MJP on ID sticker).
This truck was a flood salvaged pickup truck. I have not torn anything down yet, to tell how bad the flood damage was to the engine or transmission.
I bought a few of these combos before, and I am currently using one for myself. I have one torn down right now that will go into my car. They should be fine but I can not guarantee them because of the fact that they could have possibly been submerged in water before. So at least, it would need gone through (obviously) and might as well put all new bearings inside. But, I am not trying to hide anything on this.
I am looking to get $800 OBO, picked up. Not sure on the best method for shipping the combo, but if you have any ideas, let me know. Possibly try uship.com.

Ill vouch for Rich(73Cam). Very nice guy and I have dealt with him recently. If shipping is 100% necessary get on there and when starting the listing set a goal price of about $125 to $150 and someone will pick it up and deliver it, I almost guarantee it. If I had the cash this would be in my garage right now.

Deal in the works.
Next step is for me to find some time and remove the intake and heads, to grab a few photos of the cylinder walls, as that is definitely some crucial info. So I will keep everyone posted of the status as I go along.

If I went through the trouble of putting a guarantee on this thing, which requires tearing into it, I would jack the price up on this combo about double. Id say that this is an as is look at it yourself price.

I agree with your comments Bill, as they are very valid. I wanted to price so that it would be just a quick sale, without teardown. But while on the phone with Steve, I did agree to do a partial teardown. Why you might ask? Just because that I don't want to hose anyone on a purchase. This does not necessarily mean any guarantee, just a few pics of here is what it looks like. If it was in running condition, no doubt, price would be higher - plus the comfort level for the buyer and seller.
Steve, I'll keep you posted to how things are going.

These guys are hosing you if they make you take one bolt lose. The transmission is 99% for sure good, how much is a 4L80e worth? Well, basically you are throwing the engine in for free really. Just the covers and extras on the engine can be sold for $300 or so if you break it all down. I know you are a stand up guy Rich, no doubt, just think these asshats are being unfair expecting that price and you turning one wrench. If you tear into it and its all perfectly good, Id start a new thread and ask $1400 for the package and thats for a fairly quick sell.
