And i bet he'll tell ya when a race was set up, no one even asked to see under the hood. Just line them up and hope for the best. I still have two of my old cars. I think one might still be able to muster up a 10.50 or two.

Pretty much, just run em and go. From what all his friends say he had a yellow '69 Chevelle with a 327 he build that would smoke everything..lol

Then a 1970 Vista Cruiser with a 454 that would haul *** too..

Well i guess you guys all need to come to woodward ave in detroit for some old fashion stop light racing every fri and saturday night. All the older hard core guys come out with all kinds of muscle cars and some mean tuners and they just do 0-80 mph races down woodward. Fun times all summer long. My favorite was watching a 95 drop top t/a pull a 3ft wheelie past a 10 sec supra. http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/ctd/1346806374.html heres the supra in case anybody is interested he wants 29000 for it lol

I think that supra might go 8sec in the 8th but for sure not the 1/4.
Looks good though.

Looks nice..

"It's set up to put down 530 horsepower at the wheels on 110 octane"

Gas will be expensive.. or if you want the 93 you will be puttin down less.

As long as its all motor and a street truck, no problem.

And I got a little NEWS flash for ya, Believe about 5%(or less) of what racerdude tells ya. He NEVER has had a fast car, He has NEVER built his own car. The fastest car he built the engine in ran 10.90(Bucks Rocket RACECAR). DOnt let him fool ya, he is all hot air.

If it was up to him my car would STILL be on jackstands.

I'd be more concerned about a car like Tony Shepard's, a car that could give a lot of LSX's around my parts a good run! 10.5's @ 125 wouldn't get you too far down here. My production-stock car trapped 5mph faster than that off the showroom and it doesn't even feel too fast to me anymore. I need more! LOL

Trap speed LMAO, what did it ET, care to share that?

So you got all motor cars running 9's? Thats pretty rare I must say.

Careful Ron.. it's a trap..

If you don't have 4:10's, Suspension, a Stall and 28" Tires you don't have **** worth a chance with your 6spd FI LS9 vs that allmighty 383LT1 of his..just the rumor I hear..keep it on the downlow..

Why is FFB like, a full second slower than Abare?

All motor: check
Both pump gas: check
Heads: check
Weight: close, abare prob heavier
Both SR: check

Hmmm.....

LOL I'm just busting your ***** Dave. I have a lot of respect for your car and its accompishments. A hell of a lot faster than I'll be for a while.

Just though hell, lets go for another 10 pages

LMAO, I get a kick out of all this, really I do.

So skip, you gotta SPRAY to run 10.50? Or do you have a 4 cyl going that quick.

As far as a $100,000 LS9 trapping 5 more MPH than me...that gives me a warm fuzzy. What did it ET 11.40?
