I am working on a write-up for this install. i'll post it along with more pictures later today.

So, you still had to slice a big notch out of the metal support right?

id like to know how...because ive done this 3 times and trimmed them until they were almost paper thin and you have to trim the whole bottom of it to make it fit and i still couldent make it fit

The trick is to do the lid WITHOUT the radiator support and then make it fit around that setup. using the raised filter mount comes no where close to fitting.
I took a bunch more pictures today and got part of the writeup done. Now that i took it apart, i think this will be very easy for you guys to replicate once you see where to cut. What took me forever was all the trial and error.

My question is how many have pulled off something like this with a meziere HD pump? It barely clears my fan shroud at this point (trimmed) , but not sure if it is just a matter of moving things and cutting. Nice job btw. Looks factory and that's a great thing.

I know what ya mean about trial and error and a lot of trimming, thought it was probably tougher getting that to fit than it was for me to fit the ls1 ws6 raised base under my ram air hood. I would think that getting the normal base with a lid should be easy with a ram air hood. That's a great job you did, looks really good.
